Bridwell Press Series

Bridwell Press has over a dozen discipline-focused series, most of which are governed by an editorial board comprised of scholars in the fields of the series focus. These series editorial boards work in coordination with scholars, writers, translators, and staff at Bridwell Press to ensure a smooth, efficient, and professional workflow and project lifecycle for every book published.

Current Series

Project Poetica

糖心vlog视频 Project Poëtica aims to make 糖心vlog视频 a center of the English-language poetry world. While many institutions have decreased their commitments to poetry and, more broadly, the literary arts, 糖心vlog视频 Project Poëtica has launched three book lines with Bridwell Press; and hosts ambitious series of readings, lectures, symposia, and creative conversations. We proudly support the art of poetry.

Journal of Praise and Worship

The Journal of Praise & Worship is an interdisciplinary, open-access (no article processing charges), peer-reviewed journal published annually. Its purpose is to advance scholarship on the global phenomenon variously known as contemporary worship, praise and worship, and modern worship. The journal explores not only the musical forms commonly associated with these terms, but also the people, networks, and institutions involved; the practices, materials, and technologies that shape them; and the distinct theologies, ideologies, and logics through which Praise & Worship is understood and employed.

The journal publishes research from a variety of methodological and disciplinary approaches, including liturgical studies, religious and theological studies, music studies, media and performance studies, and other related fields.

In addition to the work of the editorial board, the project is led by co-editors Dr. Nelson Cowan (Samford University), Dr. Marcell Silva Steuernagel (Southern Methodist University), and Dr. Adam Perez (Belmont University) as well as the founding associate editors Dr. Monique Ingalls (Baylor University), Dr. Lester Ruth (Duke University), and Dr. Melanie Ross (Yale University).

Initiative on Global Italian Religious Networks (GLIRN)

GLIRN Book Series is the result of the partnership of  with Bridwell Press. The Series aims to publish both the editorial outputs of the projects that GLIRN manages and supervises, and works of scholars, not necessarily linked to the Research Initiative, who investigate Italian religious history as a continuous dialogue between Italy and the outside world, and that examine the movements of peoples and ideas that have shaped it. The Series focuses mostly on the Western world and the period from the early modern era to the present day, but it welcomes works that surpass these geographical and temporal boundaries. All books are published in Diamond Open Access and are free of charge for authors.
