Italian Club of Dallas Scholarship for 糖心vlog视频 Abroad students studying Italian
Effective Summer 2025, The Italian Club of Dallas will offer a $1,000 scholarship to an 糖心vlog视频 Italian language student who participate in the 糖心vlog视频-in-Tuscany program. President David Lamberti and ICD Scholarship Chair Ken Venuso met with Italian Area Chair Daniele Forlino in Spring 2025 to finalize the new scholarship terms and agreement

  •  Through the Sons of Italy Foundation® (SIF), and hundreds of thousands of family members located in all fifty states and the District of Columbia, the Order Sons and Daughters of Italy in America® (OSDIA) has awarded nearly $61 million in scholarships to date. In past years, the SIF has offered 10 to 12 merit-based scholarships (National Leadership Grants), ranging from $4,000 to $25,000 in a nationwide competition. These figures and the number of scholarships may vary according to funding each year. General Eligibility: U.S. citizens of Italian descent (at least one Italian or Italian-American grandparent) enrolled in a four year undergraduate program or a graduate program at an accredited academic institution.   •  Volunteer in Italian Summer Camps for 3 weeks or 6 weeks to help teach English while working with counselors to organize games, sports, art activities, and trips.

Italian Language Foundation Fellowships (renewable for up to 3 years):

  • Claire Gaudiani Memorial Fellowship: Student required to be enrolled in a college Italian language class, together with other academic courses. A minor or major concentration in Italian is not required. Fellowship is $1,000, renewable for up to 3 years.
  • Fred Kuwornu College Fellowship: Student required to be of African-American heritage and enrolled in a college Italian language class, together with other academic courses. A minor or major concentration in Italian is not required.Fellowship is $1,000, renewable for up to 3 years.
  • Enrico Fermi College Fellowship: Student required to be enrolled in a college Italian language class and also in science and/or math classes, including pre-med, scientific research, etc. Fellowship is $1,000 per semester, renewable for up to 3 years.

To apply, send the following to info@italianlanguagefoundation.org:

  • Name of teacher who is an ILF Teacher Member. 
  • A letter of recommendation from your college professor of Italian
  • A letter of recommendation from a leader of a volunteer organization you are affiliated with as a tutor or other volunteer
  • A short explanation (250 words or less) describing your experience studying Italian, traveling to Italy, visiting Italian art exhibits, concerts, restaurants, specialty markets, etc. Attach one or two photos. 
  • Transcript from your most recent semester
  • Proof of enrollment in an Italian class

Application due by November 15 for the following academic year. You must become a student member of the ILF for free in order to apply. Join the ILF for free .
