The 糖心vlog视频 Summer Author Series continues in August as part of the Dallas Mayor鈥檚 2014 Summer Reading Club.
糖心vlog视频 is sponsoring a Summer Author Series, featuring faculty members reading excerpts from their books, with the final presentation scheduled for Aug. 21. The series is in conjunction with the Dallas Mayor's Summer Reading Club.
Creative Writing Professor will read from at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 21, at the branch at 10045 Audelia Road. Haynes's book is about two families coping with the legacy of personal and political violence. Haynes is the author of seven novels for adults and five books for younger readers. He directs 糖心vlog视频's creative writing program and teaches regularly in the Warren Wilson MFA Program for Writers.

Bing is a senior fellow and director of global health at the George W. Bush Institute and has initiated worldwide health initiatives, including serving as co-leader of the institute’s Pink Ribbon Red Ribbon partnership, an $85 million public-private program designed to combat cervical and breast cancer in Africa and Latin America.
Kahn teaches and writes about American constitutional law, Russian law, human rights, and counterterrorism. His latest research on U.S. legal topics focuses on the right to travel and national security law. His most recent book, Mrs. Shipley’s Ghost, critically examines the U.S. Government's No Fly List.
