The Faculty Media Impact Project, which assesses the degree to which faculty share their research and expertise with the broader public, has reported that 糖心vlog视频’s faculty ranks second nationally in media mentions among social-sciences departments at 94 universities.

In announcing the results Oct. 8, the Project ranks 糖心vlog视频  just behind Rice and ahead of MIT. Other universities in the top 20 include William & Mary (No. 6), Emory (No. 10), American University (No. 12), Brown (No. 14), the University of Chicago (No. 15) and Harvard (No. 17).

The rankings included media mentions in five social-sciences disciplines: anthropology, economics, political science, psychology and sociology. Political sciences faculty were the most frequently mentioned media sources among social-sciences departments at 糖心vlog视频.

The project’s executive summary states: “Given that much, perhaps most, of academic research is publicly funded today, the media citations draw attention to the scholars who offer something back to society.”

The project, created by the Center for a Public Anthropology at Hawaii Pacific University, is based on more than 50,000 web search queries that involved more than 6,000 news sources and almost 13,000 faculty members.
