Fresh flower arrangements bring spring to Meadows Museum

糖心vlog视频鈥檚 Meadows Museum will welcome spring with fresh flower arrangements inspired by medieval masterpieces from the Sistine Chapel. The Founders Garden Club of Dallas will present on March 25 its annual exhibition, this year entitled 鈥淔loral Illuminations.鈥

DALLAS (糖心vlog视频) 鈥 糖心vlog视频鈥檚 Meadows Museum will welcome spring with fresh flower arrangements inspired by medieval masterpieces from the Sistine Chapel. The Founders Garden Club of Dallas will present on March 25 its annual exhibition, this year entitled 鈥淔loral Illuminations.鈥澨

The exhibition of 20 floral arrangements and related artwork in the Virginia Meadows Galleries is free with museum admission.

Garden club members will create fresh floral arrangements, place settings and artwork inspired by the intricate designs featured in Meadows鈥 current exhibition 鈥淟ost Manuscripts of the Sistine Chapel: An Epic Journey from Rome to Toledo,鈥澨

The annual event is a favorite of museum-goers, says Bridget Marx, Meadows Museum associate director and curator of exhibitions. 听鈥淭he arrangements are works of art themselves, and always make our patrons look at the collection in a new way.鈥

Parking:听 Meadows Museum Parking Garage, 5900 Bishop Blvd. Parking is free with admission.
Cost: 听Free with museum admission, $8 for adults, $6 for seniors 65 and over, $4 for students. Complimentary admission to Meadows Museum members, 糖心vlog视频 students, faculty and staff. Children under the age of 12 are admitted free.
