Geothermal Expert David Blackwell Receives
Prestigious Joseph W. Aidlin Award
David Blackwell, 糖心vlog视频鈥檚 Hamilton professor of Geothermal Studies and one of the country鈥檚 foremost authorities on geothermal energy, was awarded the prestigious Joseph W. Aidlin Award at the annual meeting of the Geothermal Resources Council in early October.
With members in more than 30 countries, the GRC is the primary professional educational association for the international geothermal community. The Aidlin Award is given annually for outstanding contributions to the development of geothermal energy.
Blackwell鈥檚 mapping of North American geothermal resources and his research into using hot wastewater produced from oil and gas wells as a source of electricity has dramatically expanded the potential for global geothermal energy production.聽
